About
The Russia-hosted International Arctic Forum is one of the world's largest high-level discussion platforms aimed at strengthening global partnerships for the sustainable development of the Arctic region and its inhabitants. The forum is attended by heads of Arctic states and top leaders from politics, business, civil society, and academia.
GLOBAL RUSSIA:

The Global Russia Program enables a small group of emerging leaders and rising professionals (ages 21−35) from the Arctic Council member states (United States, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, and Sweden) to attend the forum and participate in discussions alongside the business, political, and academic elites.

LOGISTICS & COST:

Applicants who are selected for participation will be required to arrive in St. Petersburg no later than April 7 and leave no earlier than April 11. Forum-related events will kick off on the morning of April 8 and end in the evening of April 10. If you are unable to commit to these dates, please don't apply. Partial participation is not permitted.

Global Russia participants are waived the $2K forum participation fee and provided with free visas. The price of the hotel for 4 nights with breakfast is estimated at $400, while the cost of flights varies by region.

Partial or full financial assistance may be available to cover the hotel and flights (see the application for details).

IMPORTANT DATES:

March 10: Application deadline

March 11−12: Applicants notified of decision, selected participants are sent visa instructions

March 16: Skype orientation
